About us

As Remedium was founded by two families in 1992 in the North Estonian town of Rakvere, where the heart of the company continues to beat today. We started the business in a small pharmacy, which we rented from the state.

The basic idea of our business was to sell veterinary pharmaceuticals to Estonian veterinarians. As there was a big lack of quality veterinary pharmaceuticals on the market, we started searching for partners from outside Estonia, and so began the import side of our business. Our first cooperation partner was Laboratorios Hipra from Catalonia.

From that point, the company saw very rapid developments, and distinguished ourselves from other businesses in our young Republic. We created new contacts with foreign enterprises thus, growing our product portfolio.

Remedium also began to offer feed additives; our first partner was SuomenRehu from Finland.

The structure of Remedium made the company stand out from the competition.

We created several branch offices around Estonia in order to be closer to our clients and achieve even faster growth. Our strategy was successful and the company developed fast.

Remedium has had both good and bad times, but I feel the most important thing is our will to continue. One of our turning points was the year 2006, when we made many changes in our company structure, human resources, and general strategy.

Who is Remedium Today?

We have focused our activities to the below listed products which we import, wholesale, and provide our clients with consultancy service.

Our main office and warehouses are situated in Rakvere, along with a shop for farmers. We also have a sales office in the south Estonian town of Viljandi.

Remedium has divided its product portfolio for clients as follows:

1. Agro

We offer farmers:

* Animal feeds (compound feeds, starter feeds, energy feeds)

* Feed additives (minerals, micro minerals, concentrates, full milk replacers, skimmed milk replacers, salt blocs, feed preservatives, growth promoters, etc)

* Disinfection and cleaning products (BIOSECURITY CONCEPT)

* Milk hygiene products

* Others

Our advisers will make consultations regarding feed optimation, and biosecurity.

2. Veterinary pharmaceuticals

We offer a wide range of veterinary pharmaceuticals to veterinarians and give good advice on how to use them. Remedium represents the following manufacturers in Estonia: Laboratorios Hipra, Fatro S.p.A., DutchFarm, RichterPharma.

3. Pet

In 2006 started our cooperation with a global leader in nutraceuticals manufacturing, the company VetPlus, whose super premium quality products are available through small animal clinics in Estonia. Remedium sells in Estonia natural super premium pet food Platinum. We also import different products like retractable leashes from Flexi, clippers from Andis, bandages from 3M, in cooperation with the Estonian company Chemi-Pharm, we offer cleaners and disinfectants.

4. Fish Farming

Remedium represents one of the world’s largest, and very innovative fish feed manufacturer BioMar, in Estonia. Our successful partnership started already in 2001.

We offer full service to fish farmers. Fish farmer’s can get from us:
